Four chairs

Nobody works outside their own chair. The person who books your color correction is the one who checks it at the window.

  • Marisol

    Curl cuts and dry cutting

    Cuts curl by curl on dry hair, then wets one section only to check the shape. Bring a photo of your hair on a normal day.

  • Teodora

    Balayage and color correction

    Paints by hand and checks every section at the window by the door before anything is rinsed. The formula goes on the back of your card.

  • Joan

    Blowouts and finishing

    Round brush, a cool-air pass at the end, and a section clip left in your bag so the shape holds to the next wash.

  • Dev

    Men’s cuts and clipper work

    Clippers on the sides, scissors on top, and the neckline cleaned up before the cape comes off.

The first visit starts with your hair dry

  1. 20 min

    Looking, with your hair dry and the window behind you. You say what went wrong last time, and your stylist writes it on your card in pencil.

  2. 10 min

    A number. The plan and the price go on the card before anything is wet, and the consultation is free whether or not you book the rest.

  3. 40 min to 6 hr

    The work. Color is checked at the window by the door and never under the lamps, against a white towel.

  4. 10 min

    At the desk you get the card back with the cut or the formula on it, and your next visit goes into the paper book by the door.

The paper book by the door is the real one. Online bookings get copied in, in pencil, at close.

House rules

Pinned by the door, in this order.

Running late. Fifteen minutes is fine and the service is trimmed to fit. Past twenty we rebook you and it costs nothing.

Cancelling. Up to 24 hours ahead is free. Inside 24 hours, half the service price is due at your next visit.

The consultation. It is free and takes half an hour, twenty minutes of looking and ten of numbers. You can leave with the plan and the price and not book anything.

First color here. A patch test behind the ear, 48 hours ahead. Ask at the desk for the kit; it costs nothing.

Corrections. A color correction is quoted in writing as a range. If the work will pass the top of it, we stop and call you first.
